Google’s panda update is a search filter

Hummingbird: Google
launched this update on August-30-2013.
This update was Google’s first major update of its type. Google said about the

meaning — is taken into account.”. Thus this update was launched to provide
relevant and quality results to user.
Pigeon Update: Google
launched this update on july-24-2014. This update was launched to provide more
useful, relevant, and accurate local search results.
